Third Place

Shepherd’s Home’s “Third Place” is a community library, located inside Shepherd’s Home, which provides a safe and welcoming space for children, teens, and young adults, for learning, belonging, and well-being. The name comes from the idea that sometimes young people need a third place, in addition to home, church, or school, where they can be safe, valued, and feel like they belong. Young people are welcome on weekends and after school to learn, read, do research or school work, or to simply talk to someone. The Third Place library has a wide selection of fiction and non-fiction books to suit all interests.
